Celebrating the baptism of our neighbor & friend, Chris, who put on Christ in baptism today. Chris has a servants heart that reflects the heart of Jesus. He shows up every moment our doors are open & is relentless in his desire to help others. We are honored to call him friend & brother.

Looking forward to many more years of ‘proclaiming the love, hope and mercy of Jesus Christ through service and prayer’. See all those empty boxes? They need to be filled with food! Summer is officially over around these parts which means all of our students, interns, & summer help are out of here!!! We need help Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday filling boxes. You can come anytime between 8:30am-12:00pm and then again between 2:30-5:00 if you would like to help. Bring your kids if you’ve got them. Got questions? Ask away.

Backpacks full of school supplies. Kids. Food. Smiles. Day 1 of Rock Island back to school complete. 📚 🎒 ✏️ 📝

Wanna help send our students off to school in a few weeks with a bag full of supplies? Well, here’s your chance! *No new backpacks are needed this year. We have plenty leftover from last year so use that extra money for more supplies! Three ways to help: 1. Decide how many students you want to help, buy all the supplies you see listed for however many students you’ve decided to help, put those supplies in a plastic sack or bag, label what grade it is for, & drop it off to us! 2. Decide the amount of $ you are able to give towards supplies & use that money towards buying 2-3 supplies in bulk. For example, if you’ve got $30 to help then go spend $30 on as many spiral notebooks as you can get. Then drop it off to us! 3. Not big on shopping but still want to help? Cut us a check, donate some cash or give online and we will shop for the supplies ourselves. Let us know if you have any questions and thanks in advance for your help!
